A text message from one writer to another asking if she wanted to co-author a book about strong women over the age of 35 in the BDSM lifestyle and boom… Jesse Holtz was born. Coming up with a pen name was fun, but “Merica” wasn’t working, so we took a piece of each of us. We spent the next 2 months creating the club world of Nyx in Coxsackie, Nevada where four best friends continue their badass adventures. We haven’t met in person and don’t live in the same time zone, but we make it work through phone calls, text messages, and weekly zoom meetings.
